Assistant to the Producer – BCT producer seeks an assistant for Fall/Winter. Duties would include assisting in all aspects of operations, including season planning, scheduling, facilitating hiring process and creative processes on production and new works program. Social Media, Marketing Intern- BCT seeks a Fall/Winter intern to assist PR/Marketing Director in developing print and web content to promote productions and classes. Other responsibilities include coordinating grassroots and formal marketing efforts using social media and traditional marketing vehicles. Ideal candidate would have experience in design software (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc), have great organizational skills and enjoy working in a growing company. Graphic Design Intern – Boston Children’s Theatre is seeking a graphic design intern to work part-time at our Boston studio space. You would be working directly with the Executive Producer and Director of PR to help create designs for print and web advertising, large scale posters, brochures, mailers, production materials and the BCT website. Development Intern: This new internship position will assist BCT Executive Producer Toby Schine with Development activities for both individual and corporate giving. Responsibilities will include developing ongoing donor initiatives, database management, assisting with the creation of fundraising campaigns, and audience development projects. Education Interns - BCT Academy seeks interns for the Fall and Winter to assist with theater workshops in dramatic play, musical theatre, and acting for students ages 4-16. An ideal candidate would have experience in theatre-education or creative dramatics. Special skills such as musical training, dance, mime, or stage combat are welcome.
