homeworkmachine2BCT is thrilled to be the very first children’s theatre to host a reading of a terrific new musical called THE HOMEWORK MACHINE.  Chosen by the creative team of Mark Carbaniss and Keith Herrmann (of Broadway’s Romance/Romance) to produce the reading, BCT invites you to be a part of this very special event!  Featuring a terrific cast of BCT students, alumni and local talent, the reading is an important part of the artistic process- and as an audience member at the reading, you can play an integral role!  BCT is planning on producing THE HOMEWORK MACHINE in our 2013-2014 season.

The reading will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 6:30 pm at the BCA Black Box Theatre, 539 Tremont Street in Boston.

In 2011-2012, Boston Children’s Theatre (BCT) presented audiences with these two original productions, and by doing so, helped to contribute to the health and future of the American Theatre.  To continue this vital artistic work, BCT is proud to announce the establishment of the Marcia J. Trimble New Works Program at Boston Children’s Theatre.
