Music Theatre Dance Advanced - Intermediate


This class is for students with 3 years plus of dance training and experience. Students will focus on picking up audition combinations, styles, and continuing to study dance technique in further depth. Ideal for the student preparing for college auditions with a background in dance training. In order to keep the emphasis on serious skill development and training, this class will not work towards a recital or culminating performance. Musical Theatre Dance is here for one purpose, to train you to dance in shows!


The class will center on skill-development using popular Broadway dance combinations and cater to the interests of students involved.



Sundays: 10:30am–12:30am, 8 weeks

SUNDAY SESSION – 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 6/4 (*No classes on 4/16, 4/23, and 5/28)

Fee $295


BOSTON BCT classes will take place at 41 Berkeley St. on the fourth floor of the Benjamin Franklin Institute.


Nicole Soriano
Nicole Soriano has been working professionally as an actor/singer/dancer/choreographer from a very young age. Born and raised in MA, she began dancing at the age of three and was fortunate enough to begin training with the Boston Children’s Theatre pre-professional training program at fourteen. She has since gone on to work professionally nationwide and received her BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance from the renowned Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. While at Point Park she was an honors student, assistant to the head of Musical Theatre, director & choreographer of the annual freshman showcase, cast every semester in the mainstage productions, and was selected to represent Point Park in her class’s New York Showcase at the Signature Theatre. She moved to New York immediately upon graduation, coming back to Boston to choreograph for BCT’s mainstage and summer seasons. She booked the national Off-Broadway tour of Berenstain Bears LIVE! as Mama Bear; and spent this past year performing across the country, as well as New York’s off-Broadway residency. Regional professional performance credits include North Shore Music Theatre (Bye Bye Birdie, 42nd Street), The Winnipesaukee Playhouse (The Importance of Being Earnest, Noises Off, The Foreigner) Carrnivale Theatrics (Ragtime) and the Pittsburgh Playhouse (A Chorus Line, The Producers, Seussical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Evita, Yo Vikings). Nicole has been choreographing for BCT since 2008, from classes & workshops to mainstage productions. Favorite BCT credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie, Assassins, Pinkalicious, Stuart Little, Footloose, Legally Blonde, The Sound of Music, & Into the Woods.
