YouTube Sensation Miranda Sings visited BCT- and what a visit it was! Mirnada gave the kids a hilarious performance, and ‘critiqued’ their singing- which included telling them to change lyrics to songs, always sing longer than the casting director wants you to in an audition, add dance moves to ballads, and always be mean to the accompanist.
In the second half of the class, Miranda changed into who she really is- actress/singer/cabaret artist Colleen Ballinger. As Colleen- she gave extremely good advice about the advantages and disadvantages of using the internet to create a career and how students should constructively utilize social media right now- when they’re young and embarking on a career. She also gave constructive criticism which negated everything ‘Miranda’ told them to do. It was a terrific day for everyone at BCT! Thanks Miranda/Colleen!
